The North Iredell Raiders basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Statesville Greyhounds to 27 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Statesville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. North Iredell will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 24-23 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-6.

The Greyhounds (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, North Iredell was defeated by North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 52-41, in a non-league contest.
