In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans basketball team scored a tight 41-38 triumph over the West Rowan Falcons.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 19. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record.

With the defeat, West Rowan moves to 1-7 on the year. The Falcons host Robinson (Concord, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 18. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 6-4. Robinson lost 63-57 in their recent non-league match against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC)
