West Valley Eagles (Spokane, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA), 50-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Valley upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Shadle Park (Spokane, WA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Shadle Park won 66-64 in their recent non-league bout against East Valley (Spokane, WA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Pullman Greyhounds (Pullman, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Rogers will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
