Next, the Spartans confront the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Centennial will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Burleson (Burleson, TX).

The Elks now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Midlothian Heritage for a 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge on Friday, January 19. Burleson will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-4.
