Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Konawaena Wildcats (Kealakekua, HI), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Ka Makani face the Honoka'a Dragons (Honoka'a, HI) in a Big Island - West challenge, on Friday, January 19. Hawaii Prep will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.

The Wildcats now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kea'au for a Big Island - East challenge on Saturday, January 20. Konawaena will face a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, HI). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
