Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders face the El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA) in a Grossmont Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Helix will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA).

The Matadors now have a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite Hills for a Grossmont Valley challenge on Thursday, January 18.
