The King City Wildkats basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Albany Warriors to 23 in the Wildkats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildkats now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Harrison for a Grand River West game on Tuesday, January 21. King City will play a Shamrocks team coming off a 74-58 non-league loss to Gilman City (Gilman City, MO). The Shamrocks record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Albany falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Winston (Winston, MO) to play the Red Birds in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Red Birds go into the game with a record of 9-3. Winston won 45-20 in their recent non-league game against Pattonsburg (Pattonsburg, MO)
