Michigan High School Basketball - Rogers City succumbs to Alcona

In Thursday's league test, the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) basketball squad defeated the host Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI), by a score of 44-36.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) in a North Star test, on Tuesday, January 21. Alcona will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Owls come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 56-11 league win over Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI).

The Hurons (7-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Ignace (St. Ignace, MI). The Saints come into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, St. Ignace overcame Engadine (Engadine, MI), 50-26, in a non-league test.
