In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Austin Waldorf Roadrunners basketball team scored a big 61-19 win over the Summit Christian Academy Eagles.

The Roadrunners (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Griffin School (Austin, TX). The Griffins come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Griffin School was trounced by Idea Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX), 58-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Valor Preparatory Academy Knights (Waco, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 5 contest, on Friday, January 17. Summit Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 14-3 record after their 53-47 non-league win over Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX).
