The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) and the visiting Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), observed Fleming County's basketball team overwhelm Bath County by a score of 83-51.

The Panthers (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings come into the District 61 challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Rowan County was routed by Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 69-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY) in a District 61 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Bath County will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 79-66 non-league loss to Wolfe County (Campton, KY).
