In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Riverheads Gladiators basketball team scored a big 83-42 win over the Bath County Chargers.
The Gladiators (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars come into the Shenandoah contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Stuarts Draft smashed Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA), 55-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) in a Pioneer contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Bath County will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record.
