New York High School Basketball - St. Francis Prep holds off Cardinal Hayes

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Francis Prep Terriers basketball team scored a close 70-65 triumph over the Cardinal Hayes Cardinals.
The Terriers (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Christ the King (Middle Village, NY). The Royals go into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Christ the King was tipped by Bullis (Potomac, MD), 63-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Cardinal Hayes will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Paladins go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 70-61 league win over DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ).
