California High School Basketball - Princeton knocks off CORE Butte

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Princeton Eagles basketball team scored a good 52-41 win over the CORE Butte Lynx.
The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Westwood, CA). The Lumberjacks come into the Pioneer contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Westwood was outscored by Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA), 60-34, in a league battle.
The Lynx now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chester for a Five Star battle on Friday, January 17. CORE Butte will meet a Volcanoes squad coming off a 50-33 league win over Burney (Burney, CA). The Volcanoes record now stands at 11-6.
