Virginia High School Basketball - Grayson County overwhelmed by Eastern Montgomery

January 16, 2025: Elliston, VA 24087

In Thursday's non-league test, the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), by a score of 64-37.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record.

The Blue Devils (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Spartans come into the Mountain Empire test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Giles was routed by Narrows (Narrows, VA), 71-36, in a non-league test.
