Maryland High School Basketball - Fairmont Heights sneaks past Oxon Hill

The Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD) basketball edged the host Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD), 68-62 in Thursday's league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Douglass for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Tuesday, January 21. Fairmont Heights will play a Eagles team coming off a 85-75 league loss to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Oxon Hill falls to 9-1 on the campaign. The Clippers host Friendly (Fort Washington, MD) to play the Patriots in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Friendly won 51-50 in their recent league bout against Central (Capitol Heights, MD)
