In Thursday's league contest, the host Forest Grove Vikings basketball team scored a good 68-60 triumph over the Liberty Falcons.

The Vikings (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR). The Crimson Tide go into the 6A Pacific contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Glencoe topped Newberg (Newberg, OR), 52-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Liberty will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Celtics go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 65-55 league loss to West Salem (Salem, OR).
