The Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Forsyth Country Day Furies to 58 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now have a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Metrolina Christian Academy for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Wesleyan Christian Academy will confront a Warriors team coming off a 51-48 league loss to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, Forsyth Country Day falls to 19-4 on the campaign. The Furies travel to Hickory (Hickory, NC) to confront the Red Tornadoes in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Red Tornadoes go into the game with a record of 7-1. Hickory won 72-61 in their recent league game against West Iredell (Statesville, NC)
