New York High School Basketball - General Brown fells Indian River

The General Brown Lions basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Indian River Wolves to 49 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now have a 5-8 record. They play next when they host South Jefferson for a Section 3 Frontier B game on Saturday, January 18. General Brown will confront a Spartans team coming off a 47-37 league win over Lowville (Lowville, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Indian River falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Wolves host Hermon-DeKalb Central (DeKalb Junction, NY) to confront the Demons in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Demons go into the game with a record of 0-3.
