The St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN) basketball crushed the host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN), 61-24 in Thursday's league bout.
The Knights now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they host New Ulm Cathedral for a A Section 2 bout on Tuesday, January 21. St. Mary's will play a Greyhounds team coming off a 64-55 non-league loss to Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-8.
