In Thursday's league test, the Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA), by a score of 62-32.
Next, the Bears encounter the Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 20. Poly will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Mariners come into the test with a 13-2 record after their 96-23 league win over American (Fremont, CA).
The Trojans (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Arlington (Riverside, CA). The Lions come into the Ivy test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Arlington bounced Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA), 48-43, in a non-league test.
