The Hoxie Mustangs basketball squad (Hoxie, AR), was crushed 63-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR)
With the victory, Salem advances its record to 2-7 on the year. The Greyhounds host Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR) to meet the Panthers in a 3A Region 2 battle on Friday, January 17. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 6-4.
The Mustangs now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rivercrest for a 3A Region 3 battle on Friday, January 17. Hoxie will meet a Colts squad coming off a 74-73 non-league loss to Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Colts record now stands at 10-4.
