The Laurel Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Lake Forest Spartans to 45 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Sussex Central for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Laurel will play a Golden Knights team coming off a 57-55 league win over Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Golden Knights record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Lake Forest falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE) to play the Auks in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Auks go into the game with a record of 5-0. Archmere Academy won 40-27 in their recent league game against Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE)
