The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS) and the host Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs (Jackson, MS), observed Stringer's basketball team overwhelm Mississippi School for the Deaf by a margin of 77-25.
The Red Devils (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Piney Woods (Piney Woods, MS). The Tornadoes come into the 1A Region 7 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Piney Woods was trounced by Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS), 12-0, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Mississippi School for the Deaf will attempt to better on its 2-16 season record.
