California High School Basketball - New Designs Watts routed by WISH Academy

January 16, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90045

The WISH Academy Owls bounced the visiting New Designs Watts Knights basketball squad by a final score of 68-46 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Owls clash with the Animo Pat Brown Gryphons (Los Angeles, CA) in a Ocean outing, on Tuesday, January 21. WISH Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Gryphons enter the outing with a 3-7 record after their 43-33 non-league loss to Animo City of Champions (Inglewood, CA).

The Knights (1-9) will now prepare for their outing against Animo Watts (Los Angeles, CA). The Warriors enter the Ocean outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Animo Watts was overwhelmed by Animo Venice (Los Angeles, CA), 57-38, in a league outing.
