Virginia High School Basketball - New Life Academy knocks off Rock Church

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting New Life Academy Bobcats basketball team scored a good 65-55 win over the Rock Church Lions.
The Bobcats (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Suffolk Christian Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Knights come into the Mid-Atlantic Christian - 1A North contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Suffolk Christian Academy defeated Victory Christian (Elizabeth City, NC), 38-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles (Windsor, NC) in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - 1A North contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Rock Church will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 66-43 league loss to Bethel Christian (Hampton, VA).
