Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD), 67-66 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northwest advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Churchill (Potomac, MD) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-5.
The Panthers now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walter Johnson for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Paint Branch will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 78-52 league loss to Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
