In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers basketball team scored a close 66-59 win over the W.E.B. DuBois Academy Lions.

The Panthers (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against LKY (Louisville, KY). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, LKY edged Valley (Louisville, KY), 61-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Campbellsville Eagles (Campbellsville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. W.E.B. DuBois Academy will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 1-10 record after their 85-63 non-league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY).
