In Thursday's league contest, the host St. James Saints basketball team scored a big 80-59 triumph over the Redwood Valley Cardinals.
The Saints (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Luverne (Luverne, MN). The Cardinals go into the AA Section 3 contest with a 8-7 record.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Holy Family Catholic Fire (Victoria, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Redwood Valley will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Fire go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 75-69 non-league win over Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN).
