In Thursday's league test, the Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) basketball squad defeated the host ACE Charter Cheetahs (San Jose, CA), by a final score of 32-17.

Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Mid-Peninsula Dragons (Menlo Park, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 27. Latino College Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 2-10 record after their 38-17 non-league loss to Kehillah (Palo Alto, CA).

The Cheetahs (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Summit Tahoma (San Jose, CA). The Tigers come into the Private School - South test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Summit Tahoma overcame Apostles Lutheran (Santa Clara, CA), 28-11, in a non-league test.
