The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT) and the host Bellows Free Academy Bullets (Fairfax, VT), observed Hazen's basketball team overwhelm Bellows Free Academy by a score of 57-23.

The Wildcats (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Winooski (Winooski, VT). The Spartans come into the Mountain challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Winooski trounced Northfield (Northfield, VT), 48-21, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bullets battle the Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT) in a Mountain challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Bellows Free Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 25-21 non-league loss to Montpelier (Montpelier, VT).
