The Valencia Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Calvary Chapel Eagles to 16 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now have a 18-5 record. They play next when they host Buena Park for a Golden Empire game on Tuesday, January 21. Valencia will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 66-39 non-league loss to Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Calvary Chapel falls to 6-17 on the campaign. The Eagles host Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA) to confront the Jaguars in a Golden Empire game on Tuesday, January 21. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 17-6. Segerstrom won 50-43 in their recent league game against Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA)
