Canyon View Falcons (Cedar City, UT) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT), 62-30 in a league match.

With the victory, Canyon View advances its record to 13-4 on the year. The Falcons host Manti (Manti, UT) to face the Templars in a 3A Region 12 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Templars enter the match with a record of 8-8. Manti won 45-39 in their recent league match against Richfield (Richfield, UT)

The Hawks now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Juab for a 3A Region 12 match on Tuesday, January 21. North Sanpete will face a Wasps squad coming off a 50-47 league win over Carbon (Price, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 10-5.
