Cardinal O'Hara Hawks (Tonawanda, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY), 77-66 in a league match.

With the victory, Cardinal O'Hara upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Hawks travel to Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY) to face the Northstars in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Northstars enter the match with a record of 8-3. Cicero-North Syracuse won 56-45 in their recent league match against Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY)

The Lancers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Frances Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. St. Mary's will face a Panthers squad coming off a 81-34 league win over Mercy (Baltimore, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 14-2.
