The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) and the host Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI), observed Carlson's basketball team overcome Trenton by a margin of 57-37.

The Marauders (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Richard (Riverview, MI). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Richard dropped by Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI), 56-6, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Trenton will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 26-25 league loss to Anderson (Southgate, MI).
