Alabama High School Basketball - Ranburne routs Central of Coosa County

In Thursday's league contest, the host Ranburne Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 50-26 triumph over the Central of Coosa County Cougars.

The Bulldogs (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL). The Generals go into the 2A Area 8 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Horseshoe Bend was trounced by Vincent (Vincent, AL), 63-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Central of Coosa County will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 18-6 record after their 61-32 league win over Chilton County (Clanton, AL).
