The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Ontonagon Gladiators (Ontonagon, MI) and the visiting Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI), observed Ontonagon's basketball team overwhelm Chassell by a score of 47-17.

The Gladiators (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Baraga (Baraga, MI). The Vikings come into the Copper Mountain challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Baraga was routed by Ewen-Trout Creek (Ewen, MI), 61-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Watersmeet Nimrods (Watersmeet, MI) in a Copper Mountain challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Chassell will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
