Minnesota High School Basketball - Chatfield holds off Pine Island

The Chatfield Gophers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Pine Island Panthers to 51 in the Gophers league triumph on Thursday.
The Gophers now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Caledonia for a AA Section 1 game on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, Pine Island falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN) to confront the Cougars in a AA Section 1 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 8-11. Zumbrota-Mazeppa lost 73-41 in their recent non-league game against Byron (Byron, MN)
