With the victory, Chester-Joplin-Inverness advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Hawks host North Star (Rudyard, MT) to meet the Knights in a C District 9 battle on Friday, January 17. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 3-1. North Star lost 71-38 in their recent league battle against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, MT)
The Beeters now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conrad for a B District 1 battle on Saturday, January 18. Chinook will meet a Cowboys squad coming off a 41-34 non-league loss to Simms (Simms, MT). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-7.
