Michigan High School Basketball - Clarkston thwarts Lake Orion

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Clarkston Wolves (Clarkston, MI) and the visiting Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI), observed Clarkston's basketball team knock off Lake Orion by a score of 57-42.

The Wolves (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Avondale prevailed over Adams (Rochester, MI), 52-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Lake Orion will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 42-24 league win over Mumford (Detroit, MI).
