Ohio High School Basketball - Clay triumphant over Springfield

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) and the host Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH), observed Clay's basketball team overwhelm Springfield by a margin of 75-47.

The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Southview (Sylvania, OH). The Cougars come into the Northern Lakes - Cardinal challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Southview trounced Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH), 29-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Archbold Blue Streaks (Archbold, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Springfield will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 57-48 league loss to Delta (Delta, OH).
