In Thursday's league test, the Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) basketball squad trounced the host Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA), by a margin of 67-10.
The Blue Devils now have a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Sumter County for a AA Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 21. Columbus will confront a Panthers team coming off a 44-38 league win over Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Kendrick falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Cherokees host Carver (Columbus, GA) to confront the Tigers in a AA Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 4-7.
