The Dakota Cougars basketball squad (Macomb, MI), was nudged 36-31 in Thursday's league battle with the host Port Huron Red Hawks (Port Huron, MI)
With the victory, Port Huron advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Red Hawks host Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to meet the Eagles in a Macomb Area - Red battle on Wednesday, January 22. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 9-0.
The Cougars now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stoney Creek for a non-league battle on Monday, January 20.
