The Mulberry Panthers (Mulberry, FL) basketball crushed the host Discovery Spartans (Lake Alfred, FL), 59-21 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hardee for a 4A District 7 outing on Tuesday, January 21. Mulberry will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-6.

The Spartans (7-11) will now prepare for their outing against Four Corners (Davenport, FL). The Coyotes enter the 3A District 6 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Four Corners routed Kathleen (Lakeland, FL), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
