New York High School Basketball - Spackenkill routs Dover

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Spackenkill Spartans basketball team scored a big 54-14 triumph over the Dover Dragons.

The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of Lourdes smashed New Paltz (New Paltz, NY), 75-17, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Pine Plains Bombers (Pine Plains, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Dover will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record.
