Louisiana High School Basketball - Edna Karr overwhelms Mt. Carmel

The Edna Karr Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Mt. Carmel Cubs to 33 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now have a 21-3 record. They play next when they host St. Mary's Dominican for a 5A District 9 game on Thursday, January 23.
With the loss, Mt. Carmel falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Cubs host South Lafourche (Galliano, LA) to confront the Tarpons in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Tarpons go into the game with a record of 8-9.
