Massachusetts High School Basketball - Excel Academy Charter nips Pioneer Charter School of Science II

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Excel Academy Charter Wolves basketball team scored a close 25-20 win over the Pioneer Charter School of Science II Pirates.

The Wolves (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rockport (Rockport, MA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Prospect Hill Academy (Cambridge, MA) in a Freelance contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Pioneer Charter School of Science II will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The come into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 60-35 league win over Collegiate Charter School of Lowell (Lowell, MA).
