The Fleming Colonels basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Patrick Henry Patriots to 38 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Colonels now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a Blue Ridge game on Friday, January 17. Fleming will confront a Eagles team coming off a 42-29 league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Patrick Henry falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA) to confront the Bruins in a River Ridge game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 7-6. Blacksburg won 52-44 in their recent league game against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA)
