Utah High School Basketball - Grand County thwarts San Juan

January 16, 2025: Moab, UT 84532

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT) and the visiting San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT), observed Grand County's basketball team knock off San Juan by a score of 56-47.

The Red Devils (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against North Sevier (Salina, UT). The Wolves come into the 2A Region 15 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, North Sevier dropped by Duchesne (Duchesne, UT), 54-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Broncos encounter the Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 22. San Juan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 9-3 record after their 62-19 league win over Pinnacle (Price, UT).
