The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders (Lancaster, PA) and the visiting Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA), observed Lancaster Catholic's basketball team knock off Manheim Central by a score of 35-17.
The Crusaders (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Berks Catholic (Reading, PA). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Berks Catholic prevailed over Twin Valley (Elverson, PA), 55-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Barons encounter the Hershey Trojans (Hershey, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Manheim Central will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record.
