In Thursday's league test, the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic (Flourtown, PA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Villa Joseph Marie Jems (Holland, PA), by a score of 53-44.
Next, the Magic encounter the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials (Plymouth Meeting, PA) in a non-league test, on Sunday, January 19. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record.
The Jems (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Gwynedd Mercy Academy (Gwynedd Valley, PA). The Monarchs come into the Catholic Academies test with a 10-1 record.
